About Amelia
I am white, queer, and non-binary, and grew up in Seattle, Washington. I’ve always been drawn to people and questions of justice, healing, and how to make sense of ourselves and our place in the world.
Through working in community mental health, and a powerful therapy experience of my own, I realized my passion for relational work and went on to complete my graduate degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark Graduate School. I received my undergraduate degrees in Art History and Visual Culture Studies and Gender Studies from Whitman College. I have been working in private practice since 2021.
I love a hands-on project—be it gardening, sewing, or anything to do with food. I live with my partner and cat.
